At Konz Wood Products, our work begins with the forest, so supporting programs that protect and strengthen our natural resources feels like a natural fit. That’s why we proudly support Trees for Tomorrow and their Natural Resources Careers Exploration Week (NRCEW).
This year, our sponsorship helped 22 students from Wisconsin and Michigan spend a week exploring careers in forestry, wildlife, water management, fisheries, law enforcement, and environmental education. They learned from 30 professionals across the Northwoods, gaining hands-on experience and seeing how these careers shape the future of our environment.
What meant the most to us were the handwritten thank-you notes we received from the students. Their words showed just how meaningful this experience was, many shared that the week opened their eyes to new career paths, sparked an interest in conservation work, or gave them a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Their impact reminds us why programs like this matter

For nearly sixty years, NRCEW has helped young people discover careers that protect and sustain our forests. We’re proud to play a small role in that mission and to support the next generation of environmental stewards.
Why We Support Programs Like This
As a wooden pallet manufacturer, our work depends on well-managed forests and a strong, knowledgeable conservation workforce. Supporting environmental education isn’t just good stewardship, it’s an investment in the future of our industry, our forests, and our communities.
We believe that the next generation of foresters, wildlife specialists, and conservation leaders begins with exposure, curiosity, and the kind of hands-on learning experiences offered by Trees for Tomorrow.
If we want sustainable forests tomorrow, we need educated, passionate people caring for them today.
A Shared Mission
Konz Wood Products is proud to contribute to programs that build environmental awareness, foster career exploration, and support young people who may one day manage the very forests we rely on. We are grateful to Trees for Tomorrow for the work they do and to the students who shared their heartfelt notes with us.
